Albion are monitoring Aston Villa's young midfielder George Hemmings as a potential loan signing this summer.
The 19 year-old is very highly regarded by Unai Emery and has started both of Villa's pre season games against Walsall and FC Porto so far, scoring in the former.
Full Throstle understands Villa will not sell their academy product after he signed a long term contract last summer - but could release him for experience to a Championship club depending on senior arrivals in the window.
From Albion's point of view, Hemmings would add creativity and ball-carrying ability in all central midfield positions, which is what manager James Morrison is looking for.
