Rewind a week to Middlesbrough. After winning plaudits for their style in defeat, Albion would've bitten your hand off for a win while not at their best. Well, this was it. In getting past a spirited Watford side, Morrison's young team showed steel to go with their obvious class to dig out three points.
There were moments of real quality from the likes of Harry Whitwell and Isaac Price but it was the battling qualities that formed the cornerstone of the victory. Watford didn't create anything clear-cut after Maamma's third minute chance but they were always in the game while Albion failed to land a killer second goal. It took the introduction of older heads Jayson Molumby and Felix Horn Myhre to get Albion over the line.
