Player ratings: Molumby takes MOM for midfield performance full of fight but Albion need to start striking first blood

What is it about this Albion side that need to go behind before going up a gear? For the 6th time in a row Morrison's men conceded first - and for the third consecutive game they rescued something to take home.

'Ultimately it's about being good in both boxes,' said James Morrison at the end of his presser before this Preston game.

You can copy and paste that comment to summarise his side's performance here at Deepdale in rescuing a point. The goal they conceded from a 78th minute corner was truly awful; a low ball bouncing between two players at the near post, allowing an unmarked Andy Hughes to shovel it home at the far post. It was deja vu in how Blackburn scored their second goal from a badly defended corner.

At the other end Albion were even more profligate. They were very good to watch until reaching the 18 yard box, especially in the first half. Too often they made safe options to pass instead of being more ruthless in front of goal.
