Albion have to settle for a point in their Championship meeting with Queens Park Rangers at The Hawthorns which means that, at the time of the full time whistle and before the 3pms on Saturday, they remain in the automatic promotion places.
The Baggies fell behind against the run of play when QPR turned the ball over in midfield and Kwame Poku teed up Rumarn Burrell. He was denied by Max O’Leary but the reflection then ricocheted off the face of the unfortunate Chris Mepham, who unintentionally diverted it into his own goal.
Within three minutes, Albion were level when Felix Horn Myhre teed up Callum Styles on the edge of the penalty area and he picked out the bottom corner with aplomb.
