West Hammered! Albion player ratings as Myhre, Morgan, Price and Mepham all shine in superb win at the London Stadium

James Morrison's side extended their unbeaten run to four games - and more importantly answered a few questions about their appetite for the big occasion after derby failures against Wolves and Blues

'I knew that performance was coming;' said beaming boss James Morrison after a win that confirms Albion's standing as a team to be reckoned with this season.

Morrison called for his players to show their 'true selves' on a big stage - and boy oh boy did his young team deliver. Albion fans will be racking their brains to think of a better away display in recent seasons.

After seeming to freeze in two local derbies last month, Albion turned this Halloween occasion into a horror show for former Wolves boss Nuno Santo.

If there is such a thing as a statement victory, this is it. We have been waiting to see whether Albion's fine start to the season was a flash-in-the-pan or whether it was the sign of very bright days to come. On this evidence, it is very much the latter.
