OPINION FROM THE FULL THROSTLE PERCH
Look at it this way. Who would you rather have? Daryl Dike, Karlan Grant, Josh Maja, Alex Mowatt and Alfie Gilchrist? Or Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Rabby Nzingoula, Toby Collyer, Felix Horn Myhre and Brayann Pereira?
I haven't even seen Pereira in the flesh yet but I'd still take him over Gilchrist. As for the rest, it's no contest. Albion have spent around £10m net on a turnover of 20 players and totally transformed a squad that almost got the club relegated last season.
Yes another striker would've been ideal; the cherry on top of the cake. But it's still a pretty good cake, an 8/10 for the overall window I'd say.
