West Bromwich Albion are pursuing a deal for Southampton striker Cameron Archer.

Albion have another forward in their plans having already acquired Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Chelsea and Barney Stewart from Falkirk, but having moved on Daryl Dike and with Josh Maja and Karlan Grant also out of the door, new boss James Morrison was left with only Aune Heggebø as the club’s recognised striker at the end of the campaign.
