James Morrison has confirmed that Albion right-back Nolan Galves is set for a number of months on the sidelines having suffered a meniscus injury in the win over Derby County at Pride Park on Wednesday evening.
Galves, who joined from Ligue 2 outfit Rodez in the summer, came from off the bench following Brayann Pereira’s sending off in the first half, but he went to ground when challenging Mo Fuseini at the beginning of the second half and came off worse.
Unable to continue, Galves was helped off the pitch by the club’s medical staff and, although further assessments are planned of the Frenchman, the prognosis is not a positive one.
