Heggebo's two word summary of his controversial handball suspension: 'Shit happens!'

The Albion striker was talking after scoring his second away-day winner to secure all three points in dramatic fashion at Wrexham last night. Heggebo was left on the bench by manager James Morrison but came on to get the 84th minute clincher.

Aune Heggebo has spoken for the first time about his controversial suspension by the FA for his 'handball' goal at Norwich on the opening day of the season. And it's fair to say he summed up his feelings quite succintly.

'I was frustrated by it. It was something I didn't agree with so I made the appeal. It was rejected and okay, shit happens,' he said. 'Move on. Sometimes unfair things happen but it's important not to feel sorry for yourself.'

Except it doesn't seem to have been that easy for the Norwegian to move forward as quickly as he would've liked from the two-game ban. Despite getting the only goal in the Derby win, Heggebo's form and general demeanour on the pitch dipped alarmingly with manager James Morrison growing increasingly impatient and finally dropping him for the visit to north Wales.
