James Morrison has urged for patience on the subject of Albion playmaker Tammer Bany and says the club intend for the player to stay fit once he becomes available again.

Albion split their squad to conduct two pre-season friendlies on Saturday but Bany participated in neither; the Jordan international did fly out to Portugal to join in with the Baggies’ training camp but did not feature against Bromley in their concluding match.

Having joined in January 2025, Bany has been a disappointing acquisition thus far; he has managed just eight substitute appearances in the 18 months since joining, including 45 minutes on the final day of last season at Sheffield Wednesday.
