Albion's Kareem Tunde plan, Tammer Bany & Mikey Johnston updates

Albion boss James Morrison faced the media at his pre-Blackburn press conference on Friday morning

16.10.26, 11:49 3 Minute Read

James Morrison had Kareem Tunde in his mind for the meeting with Birmingham City after Albion’s international break had concluded - that was until the winger was struck down with a minor injury which curtailed his chances of being involved.

Tunde, in the absence of Mikey Johnston, is Albion’s sole winger option currently and, like Brayann Pereira, Rabby Nzingoula and Toby Collyer have since demonstrated, was showing signs that the international break had benefitted his development.

The Catalan, who signed from Levante in the summer, has only had one start so far and, in that draw with Charlton, he was taken off at half-time having sampled exactly what the Championship demands.
