Albion are to afford their squad a week’s rest at the beginning of this international break, following their Championship sign-off with a derby defeat at Molineux.
Having concluded eight of their 46 league matches, the second tier in England will now pause for three weeks - the first time that there has been such a lengthy break - in order for international matches to be conducted.
The Baggies are not back in action until 10 October when they welcome Birmingham City to The Hawthorns, by which point they will have recuperated, returned to training, played a friendly match and begun preparing for Blues.
