Harry Whitwell is expected to end speculation over his future at The Hawthorns by signing a new contract this week.

The 20 year-old Albion academy product has been in excellent form so far this season and played a starring role in yesterday's 1-0 win against Watford.

Full Throstle understands he will put pen to paper on a new four-year deal.

Whitwell was sent out on loan to National League side Forest Green Rovers last season and there was a belief he would probably find another temporary home this term for more first team experience.
