If any team know how brutal the Championship can be it's Middlesbrough. Consistently under Michael Carrick and last season for Kim Hellberg, Boro lost games when they were the better side. And that's what happened to Albion at The Riverside.
Forget Will Lankshear's goal for 1-0. It's a disgrace it wasn't seen and given offside by the linesman, who should be banned for his 'successful deception of the referee in the act of Middlesbrough scoring a goal.' I'm only half-joking.
I hope the PL version of VAR stays well out of the Championship but decisions like this one makes me think the semi-automated system for offside should be introduced, alongside the existing goal-line technology.
