Albion comprehensively swept aside Burnley 3-1 as they opened their Hawthorns account for the new season with victory on Sunday.

Goals from Harry Whitwell and Isaac Price (2) placed Albion in control, after Callum Styles had rather unfortunately opened the scoring at the wrong end of the pitch for the visitors.

The Baggies were full value for their victory, their third of the season already. Here are the talking points.
