What must Albion still do in the remaining transfer window?

There now remains a little under two weeks of Albion’s transfer window, by which point we will be able to cast a judgement over the business the club have managed to conduct over the course of this summer.

There was a need for change and a refresh after last season; that began with the management, but also fundamentally on the playing front, overseen by head of football operations Ian Pearce and his team. The forward line has seen alterations aplenty and, in the opening weeks of the season, we have reason for excitement.

Defensively, Albion did most of their work last summer in recruiting five centre halves and, although one has left this summer on loan for Leyton Orient, they otherwise seem well stocked having recruited Nolan Galves and Conor Townsend on either side of the back-line.
